Goal

The primary goal of my internship was to support the marketing and promotional efforts of Florida Citrus Sports by driving fan engagement, boosting attendance at major sporting events, and increasing brand visibility. I focused on activating local communities, collaborating with sponsors, and utilizing digital platforms to promote events such as the Citrus Bowl and Camping World Kickoff.

As a Marketing and Promotions Intern at Florida Citrus Sports, I contributed to various initiatives to enhance the visibility and engagement of Florida Citrus Sports' events and programs. The organization promotes sports tourism and manages large-scale events, including the annual Citrus Bowl. My role involved executing marketing campaigns, organizing promotional events, and engaging the local community and sports fans to create memorable experiences and increase brand awareness

Target Audience

Sports Fans: College football and professional sports fans, particularly those attending events like the Citrus Bowl.

Local Communities: Engaging Orlando residents and local businesses to support and participate in Florida Citrus Sports initiatives.

Sponsors & Partners: Collaborating with corporate sponsors and partners to create mutually beneficial marketing activations and drive brand value.

Campaign Execution: Assisted in the execution of promotional campaigns for major events like the Citrus Bowl, Camping World Kickoff, and community outreach programs.

Event Coordination: Supported the coordination of promotional events and fan engagement activities, including managing on-site activations and sponsor booths.
